MAXIMUM CAPACITY: Is 10 people, if you sleep 3 to the Master Bedroom CAL King sized Bed (typically a couple and young child). Names of all occupants must be listed on the contract. PARTIES are NOT permitted. NO ADDITIONAL GUESTS ARE ALLOWED AT ANY TIME DURING YOUR STAY, and per our Vacation Rental Contract, this breach is grounds to have you and your guests immediately removed with an automatic forfeit of your deposit.

Please Note that there are no available Closets, only 24+ Hooks behind the doors & on walls to hang up clothes on. 

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:  We try to provide everything you'll need for your stay, as if you were in your own home EXCEPT we only provide a limited supply of dispensable items to get you started on your FIRST day of vacation like Toilet Paper, Paper Towels/Plates, Napkins, etc., so you should plan on making a trip to the store to replenish these items as you need them. There is a small Grocery Market within a 1 1/2 block walking distance @ Seabright Ave & Murray Street, and a Rite Aid & Safeway located approximately 1 mile away on Soquel Drive near Seabright Avenue. You're welcome to use anything on the premises - food, spices, condiments, coffee, tea, etc. Plan on packing Beach Towelsyour personal toiletry items, as our linens are NOT allowed off premises

CHILDREN: ARE TO BE SUPERVISED BY ADULTS AT ALL TIMES. Because the House’s Main Living Area is on the 2nd floor, parents need to know that the glass on the Bay Window Seat is not tempered, only dual glazed; The 3rd floor loft spiral staircase railings are widely spaced @ 7.5" apart, and the 2nd story deck has 8.5" spacing in the deck rail, where a small child can crawl between and fall. The Loft Bedroom Treasure Chest/Toy Box is filled with Toys, some of which may contain small pieces that a small child can choke on. For **SAFETY** reasons this house MAY NOT BE the most appropriate place for your vacation if you have young or rambunctious children. There is a Baby Gate for the main Staircase & Safety Rail Netting in the hall linen closet, to tie on the deck rails if you’d like, but they do not take the place of vigilance with regards to watching your children on the deck, with its wide spacing on the deck rails. Use it at your own risk, it is unknown if it works, it was left here by a prior guest. Please be advised that you are making the reservation with the above knowledge at your own risk, and are agreeing to hold the Owner harmless without any liability. To open Child Proof cabinet locks underneath all sinks, press down on the top wide tab area.


CLEANING REQUIREMENTS: The property will be inspected & sanitized after your departure. The Sanitization Fee you have paid will provide for normal sanitizing of the Bed Linens, Bathrooms, & Flooring. In order to enjoy your vacation until the last minute, You may leave the Dishwasher washing your FINAL load of Dishes, and the Dryer drying your FINAL load of Towels before your departure. You should leave the property in the same general condition that you received it, (Kitchen Towels are in the Hutch Bin Drawer) EXCEPT that you Do NOT make the beds, launder bed linens, clean the bathrooms, or clean the floors. Please do not make the beds or Launder Blankets & Bed Linens as we'll have to launder them again, to confirm they are fresh for the next guests. ***THE BED COMFORTERS & Matching PILLOW SHAMS ARE DECORATIVE ONLY, and are Dry Clean only. DO NOT WASH THEM. IF THESE are stained by your guests, they HAVE TO BE DRYCLEANED AFTER YOUR STAY, APPROPRIATE CHARGES MAY BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR DEPOSIT***The BBQ GRILL & KITCHEN MUST BE LEFT CLEAN, including all recycling bin & trash compactor contents discarded into the Garage garbage bins. There is Quick Final Check Off List on the Kitchen Scale on what to do before your final departure. Propane BBQ Grill is only for Guests familiar with its safe usage- Use at your Own Risk, Cleaning Rags & Simple Green spray are located in a bucket under kitchen sink. Wire brush is inside of grill.

***SUNDAY-MONDAY Guests MUST Place Out & Retrieve the two #122 Garbage & Recycling bins, as there is a city ordinance prohibiting them being left out past the pickup days. The blue lidded recycling bin is for glass, paper, & plastic only***

Please leave sand at the beach and use the rear patio SHARED OUTDOOR SHOWER to wash off sand before re-entering the house, as the cleaners charge extra for excessive sand removal. Please be respectful of the seperate Rear Studio year round exclusive usage of this Patio area back there, and keep voices down. All sand must be shaked off towels or clothing outside prior to inserting them into the WASHING MACHINE or DRYER, as sand can damage the machines.
 
***URGENT*** All glass Lamps on Nightstands are quake glued down to prevent breakage. Please DO NOT move them from their secure location. Prior to your Departure, your must TURN OFF ALL LIGHTS, OVEN RANGE, & HEATER, along with lowering & closing all Window Blinds, locking all Windows & Doors, including the Loft Bedroom Door, and always UNPLUG the COFFEE Percolator after brewing is complete or you will burn the pot. Please leave the 9 TV/DVD remotes back on the kitchen counter corner.

IMPORTANT: Absolutely NO PETS allowed. We’re allergic to pet dander, and will know if there was an animal in the house. Per our Rental Contract, this breach, or the breaches of the NO SMOKING ANYWHERE ON THE PREMISES, or the allowing of different Occupants enter the Beach House other than those listed on the contract, will constitute an automatic forfeiture of your security deposit, as the Cost to Cure will supercede your deposit amount. Additionally, you are NOT allowed to give out our codes to anyone but the authorized adult occupants listed on the contract.
 

No TAPE or STICKERS permitted on any surfaces. No INCENSE or CANDLE BURNING (candles there are all battery operated), No NAIL POLISH or REMOVER, No CHEWING GUM, NO HAIR DYE, No PERMANENT MARKERS, & NO RED PUNCH DRINKS permitted on the premises, as these can cause irreversible damage. We ask that you LEAVE YOUR SHOES DOWNSTAIRS in order to maintain the carpet clean for the next guest.

PARKING available on Street or surrounding streets only - No Permit Required. Please DO NOT park on driveway, as you will block cars already in the garage.

Seabright Beach is patrolled by State Park Rangers, they have the right to inspect your Coolers as NO GLASS or ALCOHOL are allowed on the Beach.

Owner is not responsible for weather conditions, construction or neighborhood noise, Cable TV, Telephone, Internet, Netflix, or any Utility outages, clogged plumbing,
city water pipeline repairs, time down for emergency plumbing repairs, mandatory water rationing during drout years, or Items stolen, lost, or left at property by guests. There is a toilet plunger located under the hall bath vanity. If needed, call Roto Rooter @ 831-425-7669.

There is a City of Santa Cruz "No Loud Noise after 10 p.m." ORDINANCE. As this is a residential area, music and voices must be kept to a moderate level in consideration of neighbors. If police come out to the premises due to loud noise, you will automatically forfeit any fines charged to us from your deposit.

PLEASE be advised that any broken items by your party must be left at the house in its broken condition and NOT thrown out, as missing items may constitute a deduction from your security deposit for it's replacement.
 
For your use during your stay, we provide a custom RESTAURANT GUIDE binder & a Sea Angel binder with useful information including a copy of our website, personal property list, a City Map, & Santa Cruz Traveler's Guide Magazine.

CANCELLATIONS: Are NOT REFUNDABLE.
 
It is here in mutually agreed that email will suffice as written communication, to include final deposit accounting upon vacancy.
