TRASH PICK UP DAY is Early MONDAY Morning. Side Yard holds the BROWN Trash & BLUE Recycle Bins, Garbage Trucks will Not pick up the bins if pizza boxes are visible, so we ask that you put any pizza boxes at the bottom of the brown bin only, Your bins are shared, we ask that in order to maximize the garbage space for all, that you PLEASE RECYCLE.
REMOTES & KEYS-2 Remotes for the 40" SAMSUNG Smart TV & blue ray DVD Player; 2 HOUSE Keys + 1 GARDEN GATE KEY for Side Yard access, with 2 Bicycle Lock brackets, This Gate must be locked behind you at all times to protect the property. No other Storage allowed there, other than items approved by Owners & only for Outdoor Activities.
The WiFi name & password is located on a heart chalkboard on an antique green depression glass hook in kitchenette. There is a black Surge Protector Power Strip for you to use under the Nightstand, & USB Outlet near the Table.
The Security Camera outside your door acts like an automatic light, there is also a galvanized metal light there. Do NOT share the Studio's Hardwired Alarm code with anyone.
The city of Monterey has a NO NOISE ordinance after 10:00 p.m. Please have fun but close the windows to lower the noise level to be considerate of your neighbors.
The following items are NOT ALLOWED on the property as they can cause permanent damage - Bleach, Nail Polish, Nail Polish Remover, Hair Dye, Permanent Markers, Chewing Gum, Stickers, or Candles (except for Birthday Cakes).
Please shake off SAND from your wet Swimsuits or Beach Towels prior to entering the Studio, to keep the SAND out. You can use the water hose @ hose bib in the Side Yard to rinse off your Swimsuits & then utilize the Exterior 8EA ANGEL 8-Hook Shelf Rack there to dry items outdoors, as there is no Washer/Dryer provided.
Please DO NOT remove the plastic liners from the heart wicker Hamper & Trash Bin, nor the S/Steel Trash bin in the Kitchenette, as the liners are there for wet items & for sanitary purpose to maintain them clean.
Please Do Not Park on Driveway. Please contact the City of Monterey for a neighborhood parking permit if car won't be moved much, as the city will chalk your tires prior to ticketing it.
KITCHEN & BATH NOTES:
PLEASE DO NOT leave wet towels on the natural MARBLE Floors as they will permanently stain the Marble. The Marble floors can ONLY be wiped down with Water & then immediately dried to prevent staining.
DO NOT clean "Painted" BATHTUB with any Bleach, powder cleansers, or abrasive sponges! ONLY clean Tub with Provided Dawn blue liquid & a washcloth.
We Provide a NON-BLEACH Cleaner for your usage to clean the TOILET, but please Do NOT get that spray on the natural Marble floor, 2 Gray BATHMATS, or any Carpet.
Please DO NOT use abrasive sponges or scouring powder on any GLASSWARE.
We provide NON-ABRASIVE Blue Sponges & BonAmi powdered cleanser for ALL white CORIAN Counters, & both SINKS.
Please Do NOT spray glass cleaner directly onto the Glass Topped Bath VANITY DRESSER, or any MIRRORS, or WINDOWS, if needed, spray onto a paper towel then wipe. The Windex with Ammonia will damage painted window trim & the finish on the Oak wood.
Please use caution while removing hot or liquid items from MICROWAVE & cover your plate with a paper plate before microwaving, to minimize microwave interior clean-up.
IMPORTANT-Please move Toaster, Coffee Maker, Toaster Oven, or anything that makes Steam while in usage, away from Upper Kitchenette Cabinet, in order to prevent damage to it.
Please DO NOT hang wet BATH TOWELS anywhere, except for on the Tub's interior Grab Bars or over the Shower Door. Please use the Exterior Sea Angel 8-Hook Wall Rack for Wet Swimsuits or Beach Towels. The hooks behind the doors are for dry clothes only.
LIVING & BEDROOM NOTES:
**VERY IMPORTANT BEFORE LEAVING THE STUDIO** UNPLUG HEATER, LOCK All WINDOWS, & CLOSE MINIBLINDS in order to minimize Fading of Window Balloon Curtain Valances, Tablecloth, Wall Art, & Furniture.
Fire Extinguisher located in Wardrobe Closet with white metal Stepladder, 10 Year Battery Combo Smoke & CO Detector on the ceiling.
We strive to keep the carpet clean for the next guests, if you would be so kind to try to keep your shoes on the provided mat if dirty.
Locked Doors & Cabinets are for OWNER Storage only.
Please take care Not to damage the vintage Stained Glass Panel on the Oak cabinet under the TV.
BEDDING-DO NOT REMOVE the cloth quilted mattress cover or the hypoallergenic fabric Pillow PROTECTORS, they are there for Sanitary reasons and to prevent Bedbugs.
It is mutually agreed that Email will suffice as written communication between all parties, including, if needed, final deposit accounting upon vacancy.
